Parsnips reads over the initial positions of both camps, cracking his knuckles and rolling his wrists in loose circles.
"Ok, let's start with the easy ones and move into where there's likely to be more tension.
1. For starters, you want our brain transfer tech. You can have it in exchange for your rocket seeding technology.
2. We want to develop and maintain a stable green zone in the north. Help us with that, and we can not only share in the bounty it produces, but we'll also provide assistance in the river project."
Parsnips pauses, smirking a little to himself before continuing. This all feels so very familiar, despite the surroundings. "Now these next pieces are going to be a little stickier.
1. We both want majority holdings in fertile ground, so how about this. We get 60% of existing areas, you get 65% of anything developed or discovered hereafter. And we agree to cooperate and assist to the highest degree possible in developing new areas.
2. If you'll agree to joint holding of power generation, we'll agree to take the lion's share of responsibility for defense and upkeep.
I'm going to throw in one more piece here, that neither side has talked about. A mutual defense and aid agreement. We'll agree to come to each others defense when attacked, and provide resources as needed. We're agreeing to things here that give each of us a vested interest in seeing the other make out well, so let's make it official." (editted to fix fat-finger early send) (edited)
